International Training Conference For Indigenous Christian Leaders and
Those Serving Among Them
In August of 2022, Craig and LaDonna Smith presented their updated Indigenous Faith teaching materials to those attending a strategic leadership conference. The conference was video recorded for international distribution to global evangelical missionary forces working among animistic people groups. Look for this recording on our website soon!
Joining the Smiths on the platform was one of Native North America’s leading theologians, Vern Charette, Ph.D, who is of Ojibwe ancestry. Randy and Evangeline Jackson (Cree and Dakota) led the conference in worship and in special music ministry.
Feedback Shared by Attendees
This all-Native ministry team was well received by those in attendance. What was evident right from the start was the Spirit of God taking the truths of the Word of God and providing answers to Native believers, and those serving among them, on how to process their past animistic cultures through the filter of God’s Word.
Emboldened Me
This conference emboldened me to keep on spreading the message of Salvation to all nations!
Emphasis on God's Word
For me, it was the emphasis on teaching God’s Word boldly and without compromise. You avoided opinion to impress upon us God’s Word and His Word alone!
Sacred Objects
I now realize the importance of not bringing into my home any sacred objects of our people as that only becomes trouble for the believer.
Live Victorious in Christ
We can live victorious in Christ as Indigenous people!
Identity in Christ is First
I learned my identity in Christ is first, then my identity as a tribal person comes under my identity in Christ.
